Giza Pyramids Complex
Nothing compares to the Giza pyramid complexes, which were constructed during the Old Kingdom (2686–2181 BC) and contain a number of monuments that have attained legendary status. The major Sphinx, the Valley Temple, the three smaller pyramids, and the three major pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure make up this complex.
The Great Pyramid
Out of the seven wonders of the ancient world, only the Great Pyramid is still standing. It was constructed in 2580 BC during the reign of Pharaoh Khufu to serve as his eternal resting place. It took 2.3 million limestone blocks and more than 100,000 workers 20 years to complete, making it one of the tallest structures in the world at 147 m (481 ft) high.
The Great Sphinx
The sphinx, also known as a mythical creature with the physical structure of a lion and the head and facial expression of a man thought to be Khafre, is the oldest statue in history and is located in front of the second great pyramid. It is made of interlayer limestone and stands at a height of 73 meters (240 feet) and is 19 meters (66 feet) wide.
The Valley Temple
Imagine a place where time stands still; this site exists and is known as the valley temple. It was built during the old kingdom (2686–2181 BC) to carry out a number of funerary rituals, chiefly the mummification of the deceased pharaohs.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar
With each step down the golden brick walkway of Khan El Khalili bazaar, one of the oldest markets in the world that dates back to 970 BC and is still incredibly busy, a fantasy comes true to walk through ancient history. The Bazaar is lined with the most mesmerizing specimens of Islamic architecture and is home to a large number of cafes and shops that sell exclusive items only available in Egypt.
You will head back to Cairo airport then catch the flight to Hurghada then head to your hotel in soma bay thus ending your day trip from soma bay to Cairo by plane.
