2 days Cairo and Luxor from Hurghada by flight

A representative will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada or Gouna by a private air-conditioned modern car and take you to Cairo Airport. From there, an experienced Egyptologist guide will accompany you on the journey to discover the ancient Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus as well as the Sphinx with its iconic head of a pharaoh and lion’s body. Afterward, lunch will be served at a good quality local restaurant before heading off to explore the Egyptian Museum which houses artifacts from 5000 years ago! This museum is home to one of the largest collections of Egyptian art in the world – it truly is an experience not to be missed. Over 250,000 real artifacts are presented, including a show-off devoted to Tutankhamun’s collection of treasure, gold, and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was found in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.

Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, the place you will be able to discover Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s historic bazaar.

In the evening you will be driven to Cairo Airport for a flight to Luxor the place you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Luxor.

Start your day in Luxor with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, and then be accompanied by your tour guide in a private air-conditioned car to visit the fabulous Karnak Temple – the greatest place of worship ever built. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will move on to explore the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), followed by an exploration through the Valley of Kings where 3 tombs excluding Tutankhamen can be found. You’ll continue on to Hatshepsut temple located at El Deir El Bahary which is devoted to Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only female Pharaoh who ruled for many years. Finally, you will return back from Luxor after about 4 hours of driving time via a private air-conditioned car and arrive back safely at your hotel in Hurghada.
